Changing Colour of Ballz & Lines

Petz files are made up of 'linez' and 'ballz'. The ballz are what the main shape of the pet is made up of and the linez join these ballz up. It is possible to change the colour of them using Petz Workshop & LNZ Pro.

1. Open Petz Workshop
2. Open your chosen file using File - Open

- Ensure the 'Tools' Tab in the top left hand corner has 'Balls' selected in the drop down menu.
- Select the ball colour button at the top left hand side of the programme (see image below).
- Select the colour selection chart in the bottom left hand corner (see image below) this will bring up the colour chart.
- Select your preferred colour from the chart and click your cursor on the ball you wish to change the colour of.
- The ball will change colour automatically.

Lines will normally follow colour of the main ball they are attached too. Therefore if you change colour of a ball, the line coming from it will also change colour.

5. Fixing line issues in LNZ Pro
Lines will normally follow colour of the main ball they are attached too. Therefore if you change colour of a ball, the line coming from it will also change colour. Sometimes lines can become 'stuck' and no matter if you change the ball or line colour the line will remain it's original colour. To fix this follow these steps:

- Open LNZ Pro
- Open your file using File - Open
- Find the content to edit (if you are unsure click here)
- Scroll down to the [Linez] section (see image below)
- The fourth column in is the colour number. Here you can see they are all -1 (see image below)
- Ensure that each of these numbers is -1. If any are different they could be potentially what is causing the issue. Change all to -1, save and the problem should be fixed.
6. Everything is how I want it! What now?
- Just press File - Save and copy and paste the edited game into your Resource/ Dogz or Catz folder (see here if you are unsure how). Everything will appear as you have chosen when you place the file in your game. There is nothing else do to!
